FAQs

Where do I park and enter for the journey?
Please park in the church parking lot to the east of the church and walk around to enter the west sactuary doors.

What should I wear to Bethlehem?
The journey is inside, but we encourage you to dress comfortably with sensible shoes as you will be walking throughout the church.

Is there food or drinks at Journey to Bethlehem?
There is food available for purchase inside our market place with the shekels we give you upon completion of your census.

Can I visit Bethlehem more than once?
Absolutely!  Please invite friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and anyone else you know to enjoy Journey to Bethlehem with you!

Can I interact with the actors or animals?
Journey to Bethlehem is an interactive, hands-on experience.  Please talk to the actors, but remeber they are from the first century!

Do I need to make reservations?  What if I want to bring a group of people?
Reservations are not required.  Groups of no more than 15 are taken on the journey.  The small number is due to space limitations.

Is Bethlehem handicap accessible?
Unfortunately the journey takes you all over the church and down stairs.  We will do our best to make every effort possible for wheelchairs or those with other handicaps to take the journey.

Where are the visitor restrooms?
Unfortunately there are no visitor restrooms available except in cases of emergency.

What if I have questions about what I have seen or experienced?
Sometimes visitors to Bethlehem aren't quite ready for the emotionally stirring scenes they experience.  Many have questions afterwrds about who Jesus was, and why he was born in a stable over 2000 years ago.  That's ok, and we look forward to helping you answer those questions!  Upon completion of your journey there is a member of the church available to answer any questions you may have.
