This month the Missions Committee has chosen to focus on Moore, Oklahoma, as they recover from the EF5 tornado that ravaged their town.  Please continue to be in prayer for them.  As our lives go on it is easy to forget about these people whose lives will not be able to "go on" for quite som time.

Specific things to pray for:

~The families who lost loved ones, including the families of the 9 children that were lost at their schools, and those who lost their homes and all their posessions.

~All residents of the community for strength, wisdom and guidance as they help in the recovery effort.

~That Christ be glorified with more stories of believers and their trust in him.

If you feel led to pride a financial gift to help in the recovery effort, the organization Samaritan's Purse (who also runs Operation Christmas Child) has a website set up so you can give online - http://www.samaritanspurse.org/article/oklahoma-tornado-response/

Over the next few weeks we will be making lists of items needed by the victims of the tornado that we will will collect at the church, so stay tuned!

If you are interested in traveling to Moore for a weekend trip to help with the recovery effor please contact Steph by phone at 785-587-7862 or email at rieglet07@hotmail.com
