Hometown: DeKalb, Illinois

Joined the Staff: January 1, 2012

Education: BA in Commercial Graphics from Pittsburg State University; MA in Youth and Family Ministry from Denver Seminary

Other Places and/or Cities I have worked: Since coming to know Christ, I have worked with youth across the country, in gutters and in mansions. I have worked for the Center For Student Missions in San Francisco, New York, and Denver. I was the manager of a youth center in Olympia, WA. I served as a mentor and assisted a chaplain with YFC Juvenile Justice Ministries. I worked with InnerCHANGE in San Francisco reaching out to homeless youth. My passion and calling is working with teenagers. Whether it is running the day to day operations of a youth center, building relationships with a wide variety of youth, leading short-term mission trips, volunteering at various ministries across the country, providing outreach and support for homeless youth, planning activities, or creating programs, I believe that it has been my calling to share the love of Christ with teenagers. As the youth director of First Presbyterian Church it is my desire to continue in this calling and lead the youth of this community into a loving relationship with their God and Savior.

Family: Celisa, wife; Emersyn Grace, daughter

Hobbies: I love creating art, collecting vinyl records, fishing, hiking, and play board games.

Interesting Facts: It is my goal to eventually participate in the competitive beard growing circuit.  Mine has been growing since May 2012.
